Hi,
I can not write the symbol "@" in the text editor, using VIDEO EDITOR 4, it just doesn't work.
Do have a solution for this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Stam

Hello Stam,

Please use the latest version AVS Video Editor 5.1. to avoid the problem. You can download it here.

Hello Vlad,
Thank you for the answer.
I just installed de latest version 5.2.0.169, but that doesn't change anything.
The sign "@" seems to be not allowed.
Please can you test it?
I use a standard Azerty keyboard and windows XP. My PC is ok.
Thanks

Quite strange...

Just to clear up:
Are you not able to type @ in the text field or it is not displayed correctly (? instead of @)?

I am not able to type @. Nothing happens.
It seems that all symbols that require the "Alt" key don't type
Thx

There seems to be the problem entering symbols from Azerty keyboard into AVS Video Editor. Try copy/pasting @ symbol from text document into AVS Video Editor.

I hope it will help.

Regards.

Copy/pasting @, #, [ and ] seems to run.

I'm confused. What is an Azerty keyboard? Don't you mean QWERTY?
Also, the @ symbol is usually typed as SHIFT + 2 , not ALT + 2.
Am I missing something?

Hello,
The Azerty keyboard is the european format, with the A at the place of the Q, and some other minor variations.
On an Azerty you have to press Alt Gr + 2 to type the @ symbol.
In this case and in video editor, it doesn't work, nothing happens.
Finally I was able to write @ using the copy/paste function as suggested by Vlad and Kana48, but there seems to be something like a bug here, I don't know but I hope that will be fixed in a next update.
Thx
