I have been trying to convert Full HD 60fps mp4 video from my Videocamera to a more manageable PAL 25fps AVI file but when I do the video plays back at 2x speed (audio is okay). If I edit the file header to reduce the fps from 25 to 12 then it plays back okay-ish. I also noticed that the video runtime doubles in length so it looks like AVS gets confused somewhere along the line, unless I am doing something wrong?

I have upgraded to the latest version and tried a few different profiles (mostly avi files for uploading to the web) and they all suffer from the same platback problem. I can't be the only person to try to convert a 60fps video?

Hello,

I suppose you have converted to avi with h.264 codec. Try converting to avi with divx profile.

Regards.

Mmmmmm even converting to 720HD 60fps BlueRay still results in a file where to video runs at x2 even though the audio is okay. Does anyone know how to correct this if AVS cannot handle it?

We need additional information to assist you with the problem:
Do you have this issue only converting mp4 files from your camera or other files too? If only from camera, the issue is working with certain files. We need your file to fix the problem.

I have converted TS files from my satellite receiver with no issue so I don't think its the setup. The Blue Ray test video was ran from my computer rather than burned to disk (I just wanted to see what would happen if I converted to another 60fps format). All the early attempts at conversion were with the Divx profile but I have tried quite a few since then with not difference. I have already uploaded a converted file do you want the original too?

Tried to upload the original 11sec HD video (23MB) to the support ticket but it seems to be timing out and restarting the upload.

Just uploaded a 3 sec MP4 clip to my support ticket. Converted this on my laptop instead of my PC and had the same result.

For a test, I downloaded the latest version of Super VC and ran the same clip though it and it converted just fine.
