Stunning image conversion but no audio. Source material is mpeg2 with audio bit rate of 384kbps - is AVS able to cope with this or do I need to re-output the source video at 224Kbps ?

Output directory of video_ts has several VOB files but audio_ts has no content

Help please

Hello,

Output bitrate will be changed in accordance with output profile you select.

AUDIO_TS must be emplty, it is ok. Where do you play resulted DVD - on computer or DVD player?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards.

I have the same problem. Video created from MOD files using Video Editor 5.1, then burned to disc with chapter selection using Disc Creator. Video appears (although seems to run at 1/2 normal speed). Chapter selection works fine, but no audio! Can confirm audio works when I play the VOB files in VLC from my HD.

Hello,

What is the model of your DVD player and which preset (DVD NTSC or DVD Pal) do you select when save files to DVD?

Regards.

I have the same problem. Burning DVD NTSC, video and menu work fine, no audio. I cannot change the MP2 to MP3 which is what my DVD player reconizes. How can I get the grey area in setting to open so I can change it??

Hello,

There are standard profiles in our software to convert videos to DVD compatible with DVD player, that is why all the settings are disabled. If your DVD player does not support mp2 sound I can suggest you saving video to Divx disc, where you can have mp3 audio.

Regards.

Also got the same problem. Burning process seems to be okay, but when played, it is like the video has been recorded on slow motion mode.

Hello,

Try to use the latest version of AVS Video Editor 6.2:
http://download.avs4you.net/distributives/AVSVideoEditor.exe

Please provide additional information about the issue:
- specify the format of the file you are trying to edit and its origin

- specify to which format you convert and which presets you select

- specify the model of disc you use

- specify the model of your player

- attach a screenshot of your PC configuration: right-click My Computer, choose Properties, make a screenshot of the General tab.

Best regards.
