I bought and installed the current version of the Video Editor and Recorder last week. Yesterday I captured a 60 min miniDV tape and the audio crapped out. About halfway through capturing the audio began to flutter off and on....it would flutter a little, then worse and worse for a minute, then return to normal. Then, maybe 3/4 way through the tape the audio slowed to a deep drawn out crawl, becoming completely distorted and behind the video by more and more. Audio on the tape is fine. What's going wrong and is this fixable? And what is the warranty on this software? I have many more tapes to transfer.

Could you please give the following details about the problem:

- specify twhich format you captured video to - Recommended, Native or MPEG-2?

- specify the model of your DV cam and how you connect it to computer;

- inform us about your PC configuration (Operating System, CPU, Ram).
