We are glad to announce the release of
AVS Video Converter 6 (Version: 6.2.1.262. Release Date: 26/06/2008 )
Here it is the list of the issues, that were solved with the release.
What's new:
1. Subtitles.
the support of the SRT and SSA subtitle files. When opening a video file, the text subtitle file (srt or ssa) with the same name will be loaded automatically.
2.VC1 codec
the support of the VC1 codec was added. Now MKV and M2TS (Blu-ray) files encoded using VC1 codec can be converted to other formats.
3. RM format.
the possibility of multi threading conversion was added. So on multi core computer the RM decoding is at least twice faster.
Issues, that were fixed with the release of the AVS Video Converter 6.2:
1. M2V format
some indexing problems were fixed
2. WMV format
problem with audio/video synchronisation in case of changing frame rate of WMV files is fixed. As a result, the wmv conversion became very stable.
3. FLV format
problems with audio/video synchronisation while decoding some FLV files and no audio in output files is fixed.
4. DVD format
the problem of the incorrect reading of some DVD's was fixed
5. MKV format
problems with audio/video synchronisation while decoding some MKV files and no audio in output files is fixed.
6. OGM format
problems with audio/video synchronisation while decoding some OGM files and no audio in output files is fixed.
7. MPEG format
the work with MPEG files became more stable. Some indexing issues were fixed
8. MP4 format
the MP4 presets were corrected
9. RM format
problem with audio/video synchronisation while decoding some RM files is fixed.
