Why isn't this simple option available? This person explains the bug better than I can...

Basically, I am trying to make a music video. I have the audio on a separate line, and every time I try to delete movie scenes or rearrange the scenes, the audio line is, too, tampered with. This is quite annoying and there's no work around I can think of. . . The audio line and music line are locked in, treated as one. Why can't the two lines be treated independently?

"When I go to take a part of the scene out off of the timeline, it takes that chunk of the song right under it with it. I need the part of the song, but I have to delete the part of the video."

Yes, why is this?

Well, I have teh same question. I don't see the issue answered here. I am trying to make a video with audio synchronized with several images. When I change the duration of one image, the audio changes together, and I need the audio keeps the same.
So, isn't possible to make tyhis kind of video with the AVS Video Editor?
