I'm trying to rip a DVD (Toy Story 1) so that I can play it on my iPhone, but when I try to browse for the VIDEO_TS.IFO file in Video Converter 6.3, I get an "External exception E06D7363" error. I've tried restarting as I found in another forum post, but it didn't fix the issue. Does anyone know what causes this and a workaround?

Hello,

To avoid the problem please completely uninstall AVS4YOU software from your PC. Instructions below:

1. Go Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Uninstall.

2. Go Start > Run... > Type regedit in the opened window and click Ok. In the opened Registry Editor window please find and delete all AVS4YOU folders:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > AVS4YOU (delete it).
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > AVS4YOU (delete it).

3. Go Local Disc (C:) > Program Files > AVS4YOU (delete it).
Go Local Disc (C:) > Program Files > Common Files> AVSMedia (delete it).
Go Local Disc (C:) > Documents and Settings > All Users > Application Data > AVS4YOU (delete it).

Download the latest version AVS Video Converter 6.4 from our website:
http://download.avs4you.com/AVSVideoConverter.exe

Now install the program on your PC anew.

Also, if you convert DVD direct from the disc, the surface of disc may be damaged and it can cause the error. Try copying DVD file to hard drive and open them in AVS Video Converter from hard drive.

Best regards
