Hello,

Could you please give some details about the problem.

Do you get this error converting one certain file or it repeats with other files? What is the format of your video files? Could you please specify to which format you convert your videos?

Regards.

Time to bump this one. I just tried converting an .mkv to DVD and received the same error several times.

I found this is included in an article with Microsoft since it's directly related to Visual C++.

After clicking "Close the Program" [See Capture2.jpg], I get the image Capture3.jpg

File info on Capture5.jpg

I hope this is enough info.

Ps,

Maybe a feature request for an error log would be appropriate here.

Pps,

The Code tag doesn't do anything in here.

Hello,

To avoid the problem please completely uninstall AVS4YOU software from your PC. Instructions below:

1. Go Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Uninstall. Please make sure to click the "Check All" button.

2. Follow this link and download the utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC. Save the utility on your computer and launch it. It is highly recommended to leave the default option "Delete license key-files" checked.

3. Download the latest versions of the necessary programs from our website:
http://avs4you.com/downloads.aspx
Now install the software on your PC anew.

Best regards.

I did all the last email suggested. Unistalled avs4you. Then reinstalled it. The new error message is R6025 pure virtual function call.
Now what's wrong and how to I fix that. I never had this problem with the first versions of avs4you.

Dear user,

Thank you for the information.

In order to solve this problem please repair AVS files:
1. Close all AVS programs and other running applications.
2. Copy the following link to the address bar of My computer window and press <Enter>:

If you run 32bit PC: %COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\AVSMedia\ActiveX\Repairing.exe
If you run 64bit PC: %COMMONPROGRAMFILES(x86)%\AVSMedia\ActiveX\Repairing.exe

If some of the .dlls are not registered, please make a screenshot of the Repair window showing those files and send it to us.

Try to provide some additional information about the error:
- describe your actions step by step;
- specify the moment the problem occurs;
- specify the format of the file you are trying to convert and its origin;
- specify to which format you convert and which presets you select;
- attach a screenshot of your PC configuration: right-click My Computer, choose Properties, make a screenshot of the General tab.

Best regards.

I have similar problems. Video Editor and Media Player don't work. I start them and when I try to play a media file they halt(stall) and Windows says: This program does not work, close the program or wait. I have done all that uninstall-install-repair processing at least two times.
