I click "Import" then select the files which are MP3 and it says the file location and name followed by "File format error"

What does this mean and how do I add the song to my video?

Make sure you use the latest version of AVS Video Editor that can be downloaded following this link.

Specify the origin of the .MP3 file you use and specify if it can be played on other PC Players. If possible please attach it to your next message.

Do you have such problems with any other files of the same and different formats?
