I Have AVS Video Editor 4.2 and trialling it ... am impressed so far, but I have a problem getting my recorded voice plaing while the movie runs.

I recorded it okay ... transferred it into Audio Mix Timeline okay ... adjusted the Volume & Balance okay (to silence the Main Video and Video Overlay; but high volume on Audio Mis) ... but when I play the movie, there's silence.

I tested the movie by upping the MAIN VIDEO volume and sure enough, the original movie (from the camera) comes through. But that's all.

What now ?

Please could you attach a screenshot of the recording settings of your PC. Follow Start > Settings > Control Panel. Double-click on Sound and Audio Devices and choose Audio tab. Then click on Volume in Sound Recording section and make a screenshot of this window.
