Make sure you use the latest version 6.4.4.420 of AVS Video Converter: press the About button on the main toolbar.

Specify please the format and origin of the files you use for convertion when the PC freezes. Can they be played on your PC players without any problems?

Try to repair AVS files: go Start - All programs - AVS4YOU - Repair and inform if you have any problem .dll (with the status 'can not load library').

Thank you for the information.

Regards
