When recording from my capture device (dazzle 100) using the video recorder I get a weird noise when I start recording, it's start of quite and then turns into a loud, thudding sound that won't go away until I close the program.

What is this?

To avoid the problem try updating or reinstalling drivers for your dazzle 100 device.
