Hi.

A picture speaks a thousand words, so here is a screenshot of the problem:

All I was doing at the time, was browsing around, having a look at the features of VE to see what you can and can't do.
I tried to open the sample projects - Transistions and Titles - both crash VE with this error screen.

I bit disappointing that I can't even look at the demos...

Hi,

That is very strange, we did not have such problem.

Please, try to reinstall the software:
1. Go Start> All Programs> AVS4YOU> Uninstall.
2. Go Start> Run... Type regedit in the opened window and click Ok.

In the opened Registry Editor window please find and delete all AVS4YOU folders.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > AVS4YOU (delete it).
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > AVS4YOU (delete it).

3. Go Local Disc (C:) > Program Files > AVS4YOU (delete it).
Go Local Disc (C:) > Program Files > Common Files> AVSMedia (delete it).

Now install the program anew on your PC.

If it does not solve your issue please wait until the new version appears. We started already the internal testing of the beta version of AVS Video Editor.
