After a while I am using AVS Remaker again. I used to have version 2.4.1.483 and I upgraded now to the latest version 3.1.1.83.

I am missing the possibilities in v3 to save and load projects, handy for re-use if you made a mistake. Is this correct and if so, when will this come back?

But the weirdest is the following. If you use Remaker, then the new files should have the same characteristics in video and audio, right? This was true for v2 but not anymore for v3: the audio changes from 192 Kbps/48.0 KHz in the source to 128 Kbps/44.1 KHz for the new files. When I use DVDauthoring with the new files, then it will change again to 224 Kbps/48.0 KHz. Not handy for the quality of the sound.

Can someone explain what the reason is for this or how to change this behaviour?

Thanks, Hans29

Dear Hans29,

AVS Video ReMaker is intended to make simple edits with video, just cut scenes, etc., so that is why we decided to exclude project function from new version of the program.

As for the issue with audio - AVS Video ReMaker changes audio settings as it allows to change file container. Remaking video with 192 Kbps/48.0 KHz audio will be avaliable in the next version of the program. We apologize for the inconvenience caused!

I hope it clarifies.

Regards.

New Video:
Video: MPEG2 Video 720x576 (4:3) 25.00fps 15000kbps [Video - MPEG2, Main Profile, Main Level, 720x576, 25.000 fps, 15000.0 kbit/s (0000,e0,00)]
Audio: MPEG Audio 44100Hz stereo 128kbps [Audio - MPEG1 - Layer 2, 44.1 kHz, 2 chn, 128.0 kbit/s (0000,c0,00)]

Hello,

If you want to have the same parameters as an input file we advise you to use AVS Video Editor:
http://download.avs4you.net/distributives/AVSVideoEditor.exe

You can adjust the settings before conversion in the Advanced window.

Best regards.

Hello,

Unfortunately, AVS Video Editor is not able to save video without re-encoding. However, you can save video adjusting the parameters similar to the original video.

Best regards.

After four years the problem is not solved. There is a schedule?
The actual situation is not acceptable.
I like "AVS Video ReMaker" better then "....", but works correctly.
I can not buy ReMaker with this bug.

Dear user,

We are sorry for any inconvenices caused, but I cannot tell you when the option may be available.

You can use AVS Video Converter or AVS Video Editor to select the necessary setings for the output.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance to you.

Kind regards
