I want a single menu page to show 5 buttons, each of which will initiate play of a different video file. Rather like a typical multi-episode commercially-available DVD.
If I try to do this using the wizard, I get a layer of 3 pages (main, chapter containing 4 buttons, chapter 1 containing 4 buttons). Not quite what I was after.
I've tried using the Custom project option and can build a Main page with 5 buttons but no apparent way of linking each button to a particular video file. Each button plays the same video (presumably #1 in my five imported videos).
Is there a way of doing what I want (and I'm just not doing it the correct way), or is DVD Authoring unable to do what I want to achieve.

To accomplish this task you need to use the custom mode.
Please use the instructions provided in the following thread to link the buttons to the appropriate video clip.

Won't have to do them as different titles though? Otherwise won't it run from each video to the next in line rather than returning to the menu after each movie?

I successfully created a multi-episode menu. Thank you.

I do have a follow-up question:

Button 1 plays video 1 (followed by videos 2,3,4,5)
Button 2 plays video 2 (followed by videos 3,4,5)
etc
Is there a way to stop play of a selected video file and return to the menu without playing the following/remaining video files?

At the moment, unfortunately not. The issue is being discussed in the following topic.
