I recorded a musical in full HD with 2 cameras JVC GY-HM 700, edited the footage in Edius 5.12 and burned it on a dvd.
The picture quality on the dvd varies, all overview pictures are exellent and very sharp, all half-totals and close-ups become unsharp.
I have tested all possible export settings without a reasonable result.Is there someone with the same problem or do you know a solution
for this issue?

Actually Edius 5.12 is not developed by our company, so we cannot give you any recommendations concerning its functionality. You can try using AVS Video Editor in order to edit your videos and burn to DVD.
