How do I save raw clips off my SD card to the computer. When I pull the card out, editor can't locate them even after I've downloaded them in a file folder.

First you need to open the SD disc in Windows Explorer and copy files that it contains to a folder on your hard disc. Then import your files from hard disc into AVS program.

Did that and it won't open the file witout the card. It's an AVCHD file

What is the format of the files?
