I am new to AVS and this forum as well. AVS can't convert MP4 to jpeg or gif? Please advise.

I am using avs video converter 6 trying convert mp4 to jpeg of gif exlusively because the realtor webstie I am trying to post on www.animoto.com only allows video in jpeg or gif.

Actually jpeg or gif are image formats, so a video file cannot be converted to such formats directly. However, you can export images (frames) from your movie file using the appropriate function available in AVS Video Converter. For more information about this function please follow this link.

I downloaded the AVS Video Converter software. I thought it converted IFO and VOB files to jpeg files. I don't see that as a choice in the output profile type.
Is there a way to convert this to jpg files?

Thanks it worked! What I did was Select Edit, and then Export images. I chose the JPEF format which was what I needed. It worked great except it gave the file names an extention .JPE. I need .JPG for my application. I just renamed them to .JPG and everything worked great. Thank you.
