Using Vista, when I select Build DVD after importing an AVI video and using chapters set by the authoring program. The options for build to DVD come up then the time line for progress in the Build - then nothing happens. I've left it running for 4 hours and there is no signal that any progress has been made. Task master shows that the program is running, I get no error. When I cancel the build, it asks if I really want to do that, like it is doing something but when I check the stored file location only a Video and Audio folder has been created and nothing in the folder. I've restarted the computer. Tried a smaller video. This is a registered copy. What next?

Try uninstalling the software completely:
1. Go Start> All Programs> AVS4YOU> Uninstall.

2. Go Start> Run... Print regedit in the opened window and click Ok. In the opened Registry Editor window please find and delete all AVS4YOU folders.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > AVS4YOU (delete it).
HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > AVS4YOU (delete it).

3. Go Local Disc (C:) > Program Files > AVS4YOU (delete it).
Go Local Disc (C:) > Program Files > Common Files> AVSMedia (delete it).
Go Local Disc (C:)> Documents and Settings> All Users>>Application Data>AVS4YOU (delete it).

Download and install the latest version.

If the problem persists, please write back. Attach your PC configuration.
