Hi,
I just purchased AVS Video converter 6. I have managed to convert to AVI and to DVD.
HOWEVER: There is no -VOB file included in the DVD conversion folder, and the DVD player says there are no audio or video files on the disc.

when trying to play the AVI files I get a Divx Error message on the DVD player. These worked okay using a Free Video Converter, although the audio was slightly out of sync.

I really do want to get this running because the result on my computer are great.
Please can you hepl me.

Since upgrading to Version 6.3, I now get the VOB file;
however the DVD player still advises there are not adio files and no video file on the disc. (which is a lie!!)

Have you burnt the whole VIDEO_TS folder to a disc after conversion? Have you finalized the disc?
Please make sure that the disc is played fine on your PC.

Thanks for a prompt response.
I am making some progress. I did burn all the files to disc, and they play okay on my computer.
The problem is with the DVD player in my home theatre. IUty claims there are no audio files and no video files.
I have just updated my codecs and will check both the AVI and DVD files out, and let you know how I get on.
Thanks again
Alan

Hello Nadin
I now have the AVS video converter up and running as foar as AVI files are concerned.
I have not yet got the DVD function working yet but am still working on it.I am very happy with the AVI function.
Is there a way of enhancing the colours of AVI files.
Regards

Probably you might want to try applying any of the video effects available?
