I have a Disney Mix-Max. I would like to convert files to use on this device.

What options do I need to choose in a custom profile for this device?

Since this device has been around along time, I thought that I would see the setup here in the forum.

Please help...

Tks....

Unfortunately, we do not offer any presets for this device, as it is quite outdated, but you can set the output file parameters suitable for Disnay Mix Max manually in the program. According to the specification, it supports WMV files with 220x176 resolution.

The device is still sold and if you search the web you will see many users. I would like to create more movies to put them on this device. The software "Pocket DVD Wizard" will create movies for this device.

I am trying to get down to using and supporting one program for converting movies. *YOURS" *DANCE*

Can I send you a working file/movie that was created with this other software and you can then tell me what options to set in the profile? I have the feeling once you see the file you will know what options that are required to convert the file. I will be happy to FTP a working file to you..:-)

I have spent many hours trying to get this working with your program. Please help me... My special needs daughter really likes this device.....

Thank you....

Actually you can easily find out the options yourself. Just import this working file into AVS Video Converter, click on Advanced > File Information to view the file parameters. Then import the file you would like to convert, click on To WMV and set the parameters needed (resolution etc) in Edit Profile window of the program.

Best regards

Thank you for the quick reply...:-D

I did as you said:

1. Imported the good file and looked at the setting under "Advanced>File"
2. I clicked on "WMV" and it build a "Custom" profile for me to match my input...
3. I am now converting, using the good file as input and output with the new custom profile to my desktop.

I will let you know the results...*SUPER*

Tks...

Thanks a lot for your help and for detailed description.
We do not have Mix Max and cannot test it at this moment. :-(
Try playing test file on your device and inform about the result. (I will send you link via email)
In case the file will play, we will solve the problem (will create for you extra preset)

I downloaded the test file to my desktop and unzipped it. I then uploaded it on the Disney Mix-Max and still have the “File not Supported” message.

I have zipped up two more files that do work on the device and took a picture of the message I get when trying to play your file. I have uploaded the files to your site.

I tested both of these files before I zipped them and they do play on the Disney Mix-Max.

I am willing to send the device to you if that will help. I will look like a USB drive to your system and is very easy to upload files and test them.

Please let me know,

Thank you…*SUPER*

I am happy to say that AVS did create a file that will work with the Disney Mix-Max.*SUPER*

I am hoping that this profile is included in the next release.

"Thank you" for working on this and creating the converter....

Probably we will add a special preset for your device in the next version of the program. Unfortunately, for the moment no information on the approximate deadline is available.
