Is there a way to separate narration from soundtrack in audio files using Audio Editor or one of the other audio programs? For example, I have an audio file extracted from a video clip. I only want the narration/person speaking, not the soundtrack/background noise. Is there a way to somehow mute the soundtrack in the background so I only hear the narration? Or vice versa should I want the melody but none of the lyrics from a song? Thanks!

No, unfortunately, this is not possible with our software. This is quite a tedious task and we are not planning to develop such a function in the nearest versions of AVS Audio Editor.

In Audio Editor, is there a way to remove the vocal from a recording and create a new track with just
the music? I suppose this is also an editing function. Or vice-versa, removing the music and retain the
vocal in a new track making it an acapella.
