Using DVD button for conversion of .ts file produces VIDEO_TS with small VOB files which are audio only.. Any ideas?

I tried this again today and this time got no result at all so I downloaded a new copy of the application and installed it. The DVD was created without any trouble in about half an hour. App must have got hosed somehow.
