In iDevice Explorer the command "find devices" does not reveal my ipod in the results.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hello,
Unfortunately that is impossible to upload files to iPod Touch using AVS iDevice Explorer.

You can covert video to iPod Touch supported formats with AVS Video Converter 6 or AVS Video to Go, but you have to use another soft to upload the outputs to the device.

Hello,

After the conversion is ready, the AVS Uploader service application will be launched to guide you through the upload process so that you could send your converted video file to your Apple iPod with no difficulty.

Please follow these links to AVS User Guides and AVS Online Help for the information.

I have tried to connect my iPod Touch (16GB) and my iPhone 3G (16GB) with the Uploader-Programm, but the program
can't find the device. The same with iDevice-Explorer.

So I see, to connect for up- or downloading with iPod Touch or iPhone is with Your programs impossibel !

Is there any planning to support this Device in future ?

Kindly regards

For the moment given it is possible to upload files neither to iPod Touch nor to iPhone using our software.
You can only convert files to a format suitable for these devices.

Surely there is. We are working on this issue at present.

Thank You for information !

So I will wait for future update !*YAHOO*

It isn't really a problem, with iTunes i can load the converted video to the device.
It is most a question of comfort.

Non-activated versions of our software do not differ from the activated ones, except for the watermark added to the final movies. As already said, using AVS software it is not possible to upload files to iPod Touch. This is to be resolved within future releases of our programs only.

I too have just purchased an unlimited use of your software suite, however I had no idea that my iphone would not work with this software.

Can you tell us just how long you think it will take to obtain licensing rights so that us iphone/ipod touch users will be able to use your software directly with our devices, without the need for iTunes?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

This option will be available in the next version of AVS Video Converter which is planned to be released asap. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you the deadline more or less exactly.

Our developers are planning to release the new version approx. in June-July. We do hope no problems leading to a delay will occur. Thank you for your patience.

Using AVS Mobile Uploader you can upload the converted video to your iPhone with the only exception: if your device was not upgraded to 3.0, as this firmware is not supported yet.
