Today I purchased AVS VIDEO CONVERTER 6.2 so I could convert my videos for use away from home on my new iPOD Touch.
IT DOES NOT WORK!!! (( It begins to convert to the Movie File area I created and SEEMS to have converted, but when I check it, it does NOT play on the PC, nor is it in the correct format for use on my iPOD. Now...I did convert a very short video of my own, and it does play on my iPOD. However...not ONE of my important videos will convert!! Can someone please help me out on this? I BOUGHT this program so I could watch my videos away from home on my iPOD, so I'm quite displeased with the results.

That is strange.
Please specify the format of the problem file you are trying to convert and its origin.

When I convert home video it will not syn to ipod due to format not supported by iPod

Please follow the link to check up formats supported by Apple iPod.
If you convert your file using AVS Video Converter, please make sure you select To MP4 conversion and use one of the available Apple iPod profiles.

ok so i downloaded and installed this program yesterday and every time i try to convert a movie to an mp4 file it says file format error" can i get a walkthrough or something as soon as possible? im supposed to go back out bering sea fishing today and i would like to start while im at sea.

Please precise whether the error happens when you press Convert Now! button or when you choose an input file?
