Been looking around for other people running into the same issue but couldn't find any other posts. I have a bunch AVCHD files that i've been wanting to compress into XviD and was looking for a batch compression program. Found AVS VC 6.2 and while the batch works i can't change the 'profile' of my compression for each input file.

Is there any way to que a batch of files and to have the program run the 1st pass XviD encoding, then the second pass for each of my inputs?

When you convert files in batch mode using AVS Video Converter, all the files are encoded with the same parameters. This is impossible to batch convert using different profiles. However, you can launch multiple conversions parallel to each other by running the program multiple times.

This is an old post. Does AVS Video Converter 8 handle 2 pass batch conversions or do you still have to do each pass manually?
