Try launching the program on one thread mode: open Task Manager, find AVS Video Editor in Processes, right-click it and choose Set Affinity. In the new window untick one of the CPUs. Then try to save the movie once again.
If this does not help, specify format, origin and size of the files used in your project (right-click one of them in Media Library, open Properties and make a screenshot of this window). Also as soon as the program crashes, follow to Task Manager > Performance and make a screenshot. Attach both screenshots here.

Which file are you trying to import? Could you specify its format. Which error do you get?
