Hi,

I only purchased the license for the suite yesterday so I new to all this. I purchased it specifically for the purpose of making a set of video tutorial thus wanting to use the screen capture feature, after a few problems initially I managed to make a film however on playing the film back the sound is very out of sync, I cannot work out what is wrong and this is very frustrating. As this is an instructional video the sync is important.

I would really appreciate any help you can give me.

Hello Peter,

Could you please give more details about the problem:

- specify from what source you capture audio (mic, line in, what you hear on computer);
- specify from what source you capture video (actions on computer, steaming video from internet, etc.);
- specify your PC configuration (operating systen, CPU, Ram).

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards.

I am trying to build some little videos covering features of some software. I would like to narrate as I capture the video. The only audio that you can hear when you play it back is the mouse clicks that are added. I can add the narration to the video after the fact, but that is very difficult for me to do. There are settings for the recording audio so I believe it's supposed to allow the narration, but it doesn't seem to work?

Hello,

You should select mic input in Screen Capture>Settings>Sound tab to add a narration.

Regards.

Yes, I have the mic selected in the settings. When I play it back there is no sound except the sound of the mouse clicks.

Thanks for the response.

I am using version 2.0.1.86 of AVS Screen Capture. My system is Windows 7 on a 64 bit system.

I am able to record video and microphone sound. I am not able to record video and sound from a source other than the microphone.

I am not able to record video & sound from the system such as videos and Webinar tutorial lessons. I am able to get video only.

In The Screen capture setup, I am only given the option of using the microphone. What computer settings and/or connections do I need to record sound and video from the internet videos?

I want to record sound and video without using a microphone. I have read other messages with similar problems, but they do not seem to apply.

Thank you

Hi Jerry,

The "stereo mix" device needs to be enabled in your system for recording the sound from the sound card directly.
Please, open the recording tab of the sound manager and enable the STEREO MIX
Right click>>show disabled devices, if you do not have Stereo Mix in the list of sources.
P.S It may also be shown as @What you hear@Waveout mix@Record What you hear@

Thank you for your response.

The problem is my recording tab does not have those options (Files attached). It has only the "Microphone", "Line in" and a Digital Audio interface for a TV Tuner. The Tabs are not the same as yours - I have a fourth tab for communications (telephone volume)

The line in option is for attaching some axillary device. I may be able to connect a speaker output to the "Line In" and use the speaker as a device.

What I have found:
I have a Volume Mixer, but it deals only with output. -attached

I have a Realtek Hi idefinition audio manager, but I cannot find a recording use for it. - attached

I have gone through the Win7Pro programs and cannot find any stereo mixer, etc. My device Manger (attached) doesn't help much either!:-)

Any thoughts?

Thank you for your help

Thanks for the info
Please open "Sound Recording" tab and make sure that all disabled devices are in the list (shown as a screenshot)
The issue may be in the audio driver.
Some vendors of audio devices do not allow to use "stereo mix" as a source for recording, the problem may be resolved by updating audio driver.

I'M GOOD TO GO! I found the "show disabled devices" and from there it was easy. I didn't understand that right clicking on the Recording tab dialog box would give you the options. I thought you had to click on the specific device, which, of course, I couldn't see.

Thank you again for your assistance.

Hi,
I been having this problem for months: Audio is out of sync with video, using Screen Capture.
Today I updated my Video Editor to version 7.0
I was hoping that this issue was solved, but it's still behaving the same.
I see that this has been a problem for well over a year for Screen Capture.
How soon will this be resolved?
I have tried other capture programs, like NCH Debut Video Capture. It worked great, but when my trial period ran out, I was faced with buying it. I would sooner have the one I bought already working: AVS4You Screen Capture.
By the way, I have tried all the suggestions given in the forum. None of them worked.
Thanks,
Ron

Dear Ron,

Specify please to what format you save the video to.

Do you use full screen mode to record video?

Thank you for information.

Kind regards

I have a similar problem with audio and video being out of sync when I do a screen capture.
I think I resolved this. It only happens when I select full screen. If I select selected area or selected window my audio and video are in sync.
This may be an easy fix for those experiencing the same problem.

While I can appreciate it working fine "not in full screen mode". Should it not also work in full screen mode?

Makes sense does it not?
