Please specify what you mean by "to resize the work area". If you want to get rid of mattes on sides please follow our instructions. The latest version of AVS Video Editor 6.1 is availble here:

My multi clip function isn't working...just a black screen. No video to clip. Tried Uninstalling, reinstalling. Server too busy when following link to remove all hidden software.

Dear user,
To avoid the problem please try to do the following press the Edit tab on the top toolbar of AVS Video Editor - choose Settings - go to Preview section - in Video Rendering check the option Use video buffer. Then restart AVS Video Editor and inform about the result.
