I have to a same problem with AVS4YOU. When I go to convert a video qtm to AVI ,apeartts ACM VIDEO CODEC IS NO INSTALLED .....CODEC NAME ........
Can someone help me becouse i need very much this convert??????

I recently got new laptop with Windows 7 and when I try to play AVI files copied from my old laptop, they play but no video, just black screen. This happens on both windows media player and quick time player. Plays old mpeg files fine so I tried to convert files to mpeg and get error message saying "ACM video codec not installed, codec name - Intel Indeo 5.0 wavelet". Any ideas?

I'm getting the same message while trying to convert an avi file to a wmv file. I'm attaching a sample video. The video doesn't really have any sound. That's a separate issue.

I did both but its still saying that the ACM video codec not installed. Name of Codec YUV 4:2:2. I must say though that I'm not sure if I chose the right options while instaling the K-Lite Pack. I basically did not change what was already ticked off in the options offered.

To avoid the problem we would ask you to launch the attached utility on your PC. This utility will update AVS software components installed on your PC.

1. Save the attached .exe file on your PC.
2. Close all running AVS applications and launch the utility.
3. Follow the instructions given.
4. When the installation is complete new updated software components will be installed on your computer.
