I was not able to find the file AVSAudioEditor.lac, the attach photo shows the only avs files that were listed, unable to delete or rename the file. What else can I do?

You are looking for that file in wrong folder.
The AVSAudioEditor.lac file is located in this folder:
- for Windows XP:
c:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Application Data\AVS4YOU\AVSAudioEditor
- for Windows Vista/7/8/8.1/10:
c:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\AVS4YOU\AVSAudioEditor
