Hello,

Thank you for the file, we have tested it. Yes, VLC player do no recognize subtitles in resulted DVD, but if you play it with other players, for example Media Player Classic, they will be shown. However, they are formatted incorrectly. I've passed the problem to our developers, they are investigating the issue.

Best regards.

I have dtried this - both: conversion from DVD5 to MKV and conversion from MKV to DVD - several times and it never works. Not once have I been able to conserve the subtitles that were interhent in the original file !

Hello,

Our developers are still working on the issue. Please specify whether there are subtitles while playing back video in Media Player Classic.

Best regards.

I'm converting an .mkv file to .avi
Both the mkv file and the subtitle file are named the same with just the extensionj being different
MOVIE.mkv MOVIE.srt
in the advanced/conversion options there is NO subpicture.
It's a Japanese movie so i really need to include the .srt file

Thank You

Hello,

Please make sure you use the latest version of AVS Video Converter 8.1:
http://download.avs4you.net/distributives/AVSVideoConverter.exe

Please specify whether the both files are stored in one folder. Please specify whether you create .srt file yourself.

Best regards.
