Hello,

You can extract audio from video and then replace it with another only in AVS Video Editor. Just drop video clip to Timeline, mute it (right mouse button>Mute) and ad your own soundtrack to Audio Mix line.

Best regards.

I have a few concert DVDs and I'd like to make audio files from them. Any basic format (MP#, WAV, etc) is fine.

I have the AVS suite and a full subscription but I can't seem to figure out which (if any) of the programs would allow me to do this. I was able to get some audio in a round about way by loading the VOB file into Video editor and then dragging that out to Sony Vegas and then Soundforge but I'm hoping there is a simpler way to do this.

Anyone know how to rip audio only from a DVD using any of the AVS software packages?

Thanks for any/all help!!

Thanks,

I'm trying to convert some audio streams in FLV format of my favourite British programs, for use on my iPhone..

I downloaded the FLV audio stream.. I know the file is good because I can listen to it using AVS Media Player..

I use AVS Audio Converter to extract the audio from the FLV file (FLV is a video file format).. Once audio is extracted, I notice the Duration for the extract is ZERO.. I can't even play the extracted audio within AVS Audio Converter.. So now I try to convert this extraction into iPhone format, NADA of course..

It seems the issue is the extraction of the audio from the FLV file.. I know the conversion of FLV audio into MP3 (or iPhone) is possible because I just got a trial version of StreamConverter to perform this lacking function on AVS Audio Converter.. Comments ??

Sorry, this does not work.. See my JPG file (attached) of the result..
I know the original FLV file is good because StreamingConverter has no problems performing the conversion..
Notice I am using Audio Converter 7.0

You can see the source file is 40M, I would like to FTP or send this to you, and you can attempt to convert on Audio Converter 7...

thanks

Does AVS have a software that will extract the audio from a video file? If so, please let me know what program does this, and how to do it.
