I am editing my second video with AVS Video Editor; the first one yesterday went fine, loved it. Today, I started a new project, and brought in my raw video as media. But the strange thing is, I can’t put anything on the main video line. I figured I would just use the overlay line instead, so put my video there and did some cutting and moving. Then I tried a zoom video effect, but it won’t work, I guess because my edited video is on the overlay line, not the main line. I try to move my clips back to the main line, but still, nothing can be put on the main line.
Any idea why I can’t put anything on the main line? I did quite a bit of editing using the overlay line, and don’t really want to start over. Thank you!

Hello,
Thank you for the information,

To avoid the problem please completely uninstall AVS4YOU software from your PC. Instructions below:

1. Follow this link and download the utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC. Save the utility on your computer and launch it.

2. Download the latest versions of the programs from our website.

I was hoping to save all the editing work I had already done.
I guess nobody has experienced that problem, so I'll just start from scratch (with new software as recommended).
Thanks,
