I know how to create chapters for a DVD, but is there a way to do this...
I want to create a chapter, but when user clicks on thumbnail for that chapter, I want to start playing earlier than the thumbnail timestamp.

For example...if I have a singer, I want to create chapter using image of singer, but when the user clicks on chapter/image/thumbnail I don't want to start right where the thumbnail timestamp is, but to start just before they start singing (ie introduction of singer).

Thank you for the question.

Unfortunately it is not possible to start playback before the thumbnail.

You can place a singer's image file before the sond starts and place the thumbnail (beginning of the chapter) on the image file.
