I converted a 1.9MB PDF file (iXpand user guide, attached) to EPUB for use on an iPhone 6 running the latest iOS version. The output EPUB file size was 28MB. ??? Is there some way to get a reasonably-sized converted file? I'm doing this to be able to add highlights and notes to the guide, which apparently cannot be done if it is in PDF format.
