Can AVS document converter really merge several pdf into one pdf ?

I've got 4 separate pdf documents which I want to merge.
I carefully followed the instructions.
Opened the 4 pdf in the program.
Checked the merge-open-documents box.
Once I click the conversion button, all it does is "convert" (if we agree to call "conversion" going from pdf to pdf) my 4 documents SEPARATELY
...which is not what I want.

Yes it is possible, I tried to merge two PDF files and I got no issues, but the thing is that after I convert the PDF file , the name of the file is the same from the first order on the file list. I am wondering if there is a way to rename the file before you create a conversion.

Can you also send the .pdf file that you try to merge?

Please use the Rename section of the Working Area of AVS Document Converter to change the name of the output file.
