I am trying to create a Blue Ray file for burning. Two attempts have failed with error 256 with message to contact you. That is the only output from the program. I am able to create a DVD file and successfully burn it.

Is it possible to convert the DVD file to Blue Ray format and get the same fidelity as the HD original video from my camcorder?

I am now trying to create an MPG file format HD and the program does not get the error 256. What is the difference in viewing quality of MPG HD and Blue Ray HD. I am trying to maintain the video quality of the clips from the camcorder as recorded.

I have definitely noticed a deterioration of the image quality when I created the DVD out of the Video Editor and then tried to up convert to HD format.

Dear user,

To avoid the problem please completely uninstall AVS4YOU software from your PC. Instructions below:

1. Go Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Uninstall. Please make sure to click the "Check All" button.

2. Follow this link and download the utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC. Save the utility on your computer and launch it.

3. Download the latest versions of the necessary programs from our website:

Hi plipton, have you tried a reinstall yet? I was wondering if that did the trick for this case.
