As the title suggests. . please PLEASE please just enable auto save as default.. I only found out that auto save has to be manually enabled AFTER avs crashed (not responding) when I tried to zoom / pan a photo image .. HOURS and HOURS of work gone .. time I don't have.. please enable auto save as default so no others have to go through this .. it's extremely depressing.

Some other really frustrating parts are when at the end of the time line and I extend any timeline items past the end point of the timeline then the timeline returns back to the beginning each time .. really frustrating and I have to scroll all the way back to the end of the timeline to get back to the area I was working in.

It is also really hard to work in transitions, they automatically overlap other areas which I then need to reedit for them to fit.

Very frustrating that I cannot selecting multiple timeline items at the same time and slide them along together. I have lost so much work due to this auto save not being enabled as default .. so much work. Please make it a default settings .. seriously..

Also - I set autosave to the lowest setting which is 00:00:30 - to me that would be every 30 seconds, but I think I better confirm if this is true because it does not seem to be saving every 30 seconds at all .. the asterix which displays whether the file has been saved or not never seems to disappear..

Thank you for the suggestions. The autosave 00:00:30 is 30 seconds. Please make sure you save the project file to your hard drive first.

There is such a problem in AVS Video Editor and our developers are working on this issue now.

You can try to change the duation of the transitions you use.
