I love AVS very much. I was playing some old games through DOSBox, utilizing it's capture function to record video. However, AVS does not seem to like the resulting AVI file, spitting out a strange error message about a ZMBV codec? I don't understand what this means, I have searched and found no help. The AVI files play fine in Windows Media Player, so I am not sure why there is a breakdown in AVS. There is a tricky bit to installing the codec for videos for DOSBox, so I wonder if there's something there that may be upsetting my AVS?

Dear user,

Please try to install KLite Codec pack, following the link below:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_lite_codec_pack.htm

You can try to install some other codec packs that have ZMBV inside.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance to you.

Kind regards

This worked out for me. Looks like the codec pack did it.
