Does this mean all the videos have audio gain of 3 automatically applied to them when you put them in the video line ?

It should be set to 0 !

Not 3.

I did not find anyway to set it to default 0 in Settings in AVS editor

Audio quality is important in my videos.
Having gain set to 3 means I have to reset them all to 0 in case it distorts my audio, even just a bit.

I use high quality audio card and audiophile headphones.

Dear user,

By default the audio Gain is disabled - the option is not selected - see the screenshot attached.

As soon as you try to change the settings of the audio gain, the gain option gets checked.

Should you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Kind regards

I'd say this makes sense since sometimes, audio gain leads to some distortion.

I had not been able to check that until today.
I understand and see now how it is disabled until you tick it.
Thanks for the answer.
