In trying to convert some movies, I run it through Handbrake... which puts them in mk4 or mp4 format. When I try to input the file name, it gives me the error "file format error".

Any ideas what is happening and how to fix?

Can you playback the input file on any of your PC players? Can it be played without any problems?

Please specify the program you use and its version.
