Hi everyone,

just bought the new AVS video editor and joined the forum.
I have a question I hope all you experts can point me in the righ tdirection :)

I am doing an instruction video (for download) The quality needs to be pretty high.
The video length is 2 hours and I am trying to shrink that down to approx 1.5 gig and it needs to hopefully be MPEG 1280 x 720

I have seen someone do something similar, but I am struggling to get similar quality.

The settings the other person used appear to be -

file type - H.264 / AVC (MPEG)
1280 x 720
frames p sec - 29.97
bitrate - 1157 kbps

Audio
sample rate - 48hz
Bit - 46.5
Codec Mpeg-2/4

REALLY appreciate any advice, is it the video bitrate I need to play with by increasing to get better quality?

Thanks a lot

Dear Jason,

To get the created video of best quality please try to select the input file parameters like video bitrate, frame rate and frae size to be the same for the output, to do it press the Advanced button after selecting the format. To check the input file parameter right click on the file while in AVS Video Editor - choose Properties.

If you increase the bitrate, the video size will be increaed also.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance to you.

Kind regards
