Is there any chance to produce my video using a quicker spedd, I need to upload a video to You Tube, but my video is to long in time and I need to make it quicker

I need to time compress a video so that it will fit into an hour time slot (currently it runs just a few minutes over) and I thought I could do this simply by increasing the playback speed and shortening the video. However, the next speed up from 1x is 1.25, and this is far too much of an adjustment (results in very overfast playback and excessively high sound pitch). Can the playback speed by adjusted by a custom amount rather than in pre-set increments? If not, I would recommend such a feature for future releases.
