I produce instructional dvd for painting in watercolor. I use the AVS Video Editor, then I burn them to discs. The discs won't play on Mac Computers. Is there a way to make the dvd's compatible with the Mac Computers? Thanks for your help!

Dear user,

Please note that DVD files are created by AVS software in accordance with the format specification. We would recommend you to create the movie in AVS Video Editor, save it to the hard drive of your computer and burn it to the disc with the help of AVS Disc Creator. Please follow the instruction http://onlinehelp.avs4you.com/AVS-Disc-Creator/Working/DVDVideo.aspx

If it does not help pease spesify some information:

- Does the video play back on the computer where it was created before burning to the disc and actually already from the disc?

- Does the video play back on Mac on other players?

As for Mac OS support so far it is not planned.

Best regards

We have found that AVS's DVDs play everywhere except on new Macs. The only difference we see between AVS's DVDs and DVDs created on lots of other equipment that will play fine on our MACs is AVS's use of MP2 audio which Apple may have deprecated. What do I know? I think AVS is working on it. Let's hope so because their products are awesome otherwise.

Dear user,

If you need to playback DVD vidieo created in AVS4YOU software on your Mac, please use VLC media player and import .VOB files from the DVD structure into it.

We will pass all the information over to our devlopers.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance to you.
