Greetings,

I have a paid version of this software. I have an MPEG4 file that is full 1080p that I have created a menu for, chapter breaks, etc successfully. It generated a BDMV file, as well as a CERTIFICATE file, but when I use an IMG tool to burn the files to disc, they won't play in my Blu-ray player. The player sees them as "data" files. How do I make them play? Please advise.

Sincerely,

Jason

Dear Jason,

Please try to provide some additional information about the problem:
- specify the program you use for creating BlueRay video and its version,
- specify if the created video can be played on your PC players, use idex.bdmv file for playback,
- specify the program used for burning video to a disk, describe your actions step by step, do you burn the whole blueray structure folder created or just several of the files?
- specify the disk type used, the model of your home Blueray player and if the created disk can be played on your PC.

Thank you for the information.

Kind regards

Nat,

This is what I did using the AVS Video Encoder:

http://www.avs4you.com/guides/burn-video-to-DVD.aspx

The difference is that I used the "To Blu-Ray" tab instead of DVD. I used an MPEG4 source and chose the profile for 1080p, 24fps, etc., I created menus, chapter breaks which worked fine in the preview window. After the encode completed the encoder asked if I wanted to "burn to disc" to which I said yes and inserted a 25GB Blu-ray disc. When the disc completed "successfully" I popped it in my Blu-ray player and it was recognized as a "Data Disc." I was able to open the folder and access the "stream" folder and the disc played. However, I would like to be able to insert the disc and view the menu I took the time to create to navigate the disc. Am I missing something?

Sincerely

Jason

Dear Jason,

Please note that Blu ray structure is created by AVS4YOU software in accordance with the format specifications.

We recommend you to edit and convert the video to Blu ray in AVS Video Converter, save the file to your computer and burn the file to the disc in AVS Disc Creator following the instruction http://onlinehelp.avs4you.com/AVS-Disc-Creator/Working/Bluray.aspx

If it does not resolve the issue please contact us at once.

Best regards
