Sorry if I'm mis-posting this, I'm not sure what product to use.

I have an FLV, that I need to remove one section of video, and swap a PPT slide in it's place. However I need to preserve the audio in this section.

I'm pretty PC savvy, but don't know what tool to use to separate to pieces so that I can repackage it.

I also have it as a WEBM file if that helps.

I would recommend you to use AVS Video Editor where you can extract audio track of a video (right click on video file in Media Library>Extract Audio) and place them separately on Timeline and cut as you wish.
