Hi

This is my first time trying to convert a video so bear with me.

I got a download link from an associate marketer who was giving me a video to use. I right clicked and downloaded it and saved in my PC.

But to enable me to use it on my site I wanted to convert to MP4. I tried almost every converter I could but one of three things would usually happen:

Either the application wouldn't recognise the file, when I loaded it it wouldn't show in the list

Converted but no video

Converted but full screen size would not capture, one conversion with Any Video Converter it looked like a smaller frame size was moving in blocks round the full screen.

Now I try AVS and when I try and open the file it doesn't show when explorer open dialog is set on all video file, I have to pick all files to see the SWF.

Then when I load it I get error saying: The following errors occured while opening the file: MyFile.swf does not contain any video

I've been at this for days and am going round in circles so if someone could help me nail down exactly what the file is and what I need to convert it to MP4?

I know it is a SWF file but the way some converters are acting it's as if it is either corrupt or not a swf file.

Thanks

Dear user,

The message you get from AVS Video Converter means your SWF does not really contain video, only images with audio, that is why AVS4YOU software can not process this kind of files.

We are really sorry, but for now we can not help you to convert your type of files. However I will surely pass your suggestion over to our developers' team.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance to you.

Kind regards
