Does anyone know why a video played in AVS Media Player has a distorted quality to it compared to playing the same file in Windows Media Player? I've adjusted the aspect ratio(which is the only adjustment for video playback), and it didn't change the issue.

This happens with different formats that I've tried, but mainly MP4 and AVI.

Dear user,
To avoid the problem please try to delete all traces of AVS4YOU software from your PC:

1. Go Start > All Programs > AVS4YOU > Uninstall. Please make sure to click the "Check All" button.
2. Follow this link and download the utility that will automatically remove all AVS software components from your PC. Save the utility on your computer and launch it. It is highly recommended to leave the default option "Delete license key-files" checked.

3. Download and install the latest version of AVS Media Player and try to use it, inform about the result.

Thank you for the information.

Kind regards

Okay, I tried this, and the problem persists. If need be, I can post screenshots of the difference between the AVS Media Player and another program...the AVS one is just...not a very good quality. The best way I can explain it is that there's a vertical line every half inch or so that just seems to degrade the entire picture.

Dear user,
To analyse the problem we need one of your source files, please send it to our FTP server.
I have sent the instructions on how to upload the file in AVS Support System. Use your e-mail and password to track the answer.
