I did a screen recording of something, I ended the recording and saved (it would then usually open in editing) but my computer froze so I had no choice but to reboot. My screen capture has now vanished. Where can I find it? Have I lost it?

After AVS Screen Capture or AVS Video Editor has been closed without saving the changes to a project file, the captured video should be saved in the temporary folder on your harddrive: C:\Users\[User Account]\AppData\Roaming\AVS4YOU\AVSVideoEditor\Temp under the name e.g. ScreenCapture_1.flv.

Quick question with the temporary folder. Until how many days would it be until it automatically gets deleted?

As video captured from screen are saved in a temporary folder, the files that are saved there should be deleted after you shut down you PC.
